Our après-dinner panel, moderated by award-winning broadcast journalist Jane Clayson Johnson, will share inspirational stories of how Disruptive Innovation has impacted their work. Clayton Christensen will be joined by A. Marc Harrison, a leader in the movement to transform healthcare in the U.S., Dr. Paul J. LeBlanc, head of the second largest online higher education program in the country and a proponent of competency-based degree programs, and Javier Lozano, one of MIT's top 10 innovators under 35 and a leader in providing accessible preventative and supportive diabetes care to underserved Mexicans.

JAVIER LOZANO, CO-FOUNDER AND CEO, CLINICAS DEL AZUCAR
Born and raised in Mexico by a mother with Type-II diabetes, Javier Lozano saw first-hand the marked inequality in access to healthcare. In 2010 he founded Clinicas del Azucar, a chain of low-cost diabetes management clinics that provide accessible preventative and supportive care to the underserved Mexicans. During cocktail hour and dinner you will be serenaded by jazz pianist Joe Reid and his trio. Joe Reid studied with James Williams and has played in master classes with Dizzy Gillespie, Betty Carter, Freddie Hubbard, Nat Adderly, Herb Pomeroy, Ricky Ford, Phil Woods, Lee Konitz, Jerry Bergonzi and Sarah Vaughn. He has performed at Ryles, Westin Hotel, 1369 Club, Club Casablanca, Zeitgeist Gallery, Green Street Grill, Le Zygomates, Natick Center for the Arts, WGBH, WBUR and WHRB, etc, and has worked in solo, duet, trio and big band settings.
